Prime Minister of Nepal Arrives in Turkmenistan

On August 4, 2025, a delegation from the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal, led by Prime Minister Khadga Prasad Sharma Oli, arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi to participate in the Third United Nations Conference on Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs).

According to "Türkmenhowaýollary" (Turkmenistan Airlines), the high-level guest’s plane landed at the Turkmenbashi International Airport, where the Prime Minister of Nepal and his accompanying delegation were warmly and ceremoniously welcomed in accordance with the ancient traditions of Turkmen hospitality.

Nepal’s participation in the forum at the level of head of government is of particular importance for a landlocked country. This visit further elevates the significance of the event and contributes to the discussion of vital issues such as transport-transit corridors, trade, and sustainable development.
