Turkmenistan beats Turkey at Ice Hockey World Championship in Istanbul

In the second round of the Ice Hockey World Championship in Division III, Group A, the national team of Turkmenistan defeated Turkey with a score of 2–1.

The match was held in Istanbul. The goals for Turkmenistan were scored by Kerwen Baylyyev in the 8th minute and Aleksandr Vakhovskiy in the 22nd minute. Turkey’s only goal was scored by Ferhat Bakal in the 17th minute. The period scores were as follows: 1–1, 1–0, 0–0.
