Turkmenistan Referee Participates in CAFA Championship in Tashkent

Turkmenistan referee Kristina Bersenyeva is taking part in officiating the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship for women’s youth teams (under-18), which is being held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

This is not the first international experience for the Turkmen referee. In the second-round match on November 23 between the national teams of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, which ended in a 0-0 draw, Kristina Bersenyeva served as an assistant referee. The main referee of the match was Malika Kadyrova from Kyrgyzstan.

It is also noteworthy that the Turkmenistan women’s youth national team (under-18) is participating in the current CAFA Championship, which is taking place from November 22 to 29.

In addition to Turkmenistan, the tournament features national teams from Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Iran.
