Around 2,200 Households in Lebap Region Connected to Natural Gas

Currently, more than 217,400 households in the Lebap region are using natural gas. During the first six months of 2025, this number increased by approximately 2,200. The dedicated staff of the “Lebapgazüpjünçilik” (Lebap Gas Supply) Directorate has made a valuable contribution to this progress. This was reported by the Nebit-gaz (Oil and Gas) newspaper.

In the first half of 2025, the government planned capital investments of 4.57 million manats for the construction of gasification facilities and pipelines in the Lebap region. In practice, more than 14.4 million manats were actually utilized. As a result, about 62 kilometers of gas pipelines with various pressure levels were laid — nearly 40 kilometers more than originally planned.

Only this year, dozens of homes in the settlements of Ödeý, Baragyz, and the town of Asuda in Dänew district have been connected to natural gas. For this purpose, more than 13.3 kilometers of pipelines were laid.
