Border Checkpoints of Turkmenistan Operate Around the Clock

At present, nearly 50 countries have appealed to Turkmenistan with a request to assist in facilitating the passage of their citizens leaving Iran. This information was reported on the official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

In this regard, more than 2,000 people — citizens of Central Asian countries, Russia, the Republic of Korea, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Kuwait, Germany, Switzerland, Denmark, the United Kingdom, and other nations — have already crossed through Turkmenistan’s border checkpoints.

The Turkmen side is taking all necessary measures to ensure the smooth crossing of the border by foreign nationals and their return to their home countries, providing access to the country’s land routes and the Ashgabat International Airport.
