President of the Republic of Armenia Arrives in Turkmenbashi
On August 4, 2025, the President of the Republic of Armenia, Vaagn Khachaturyan, arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi to participate in the third UN conference on landlocked developing countries.
According to "Turkmenhowayollary," the plane carrying the high-ranking guest landed at Turkmenbashi International Airport. The President of Armenia was ceremoniously welcomed there at a high level in accordance with the noble traditions of Turkmen hospitality.
Armenia’s participation in the forum at the presidential level, as a landlocked country, holds special significance. This engagement will make a substantial contribution to the discussion of important issues on the conference agenda, such as the development of transport and transit corridors and trade-economic cooperation, and will help strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries.
