Fast Start from England
England opened the match aggressively and took the lead in the 8th minute, with Harvey Elliott scoring on the rebound after a shot from Omari Hutchinson. In the 24th minute, the same duo combined again: James McAtee burst into the box and squared it for Hutchinson, who calmly doubled the lead.

Germany, unbeaten in the tournament and winners of all five matches before the final, struggled early. England dominated possession, pressed effectively, and came close to a third goal by the 15th minute.

Germany Fights Back
However, the momentum shifted late in the first half. In stoppage time, Julian Nebel’s cross was met by Benedikt Wiper, who headed the ball into the net to cut the deficit.

Germany improved in the second half. In the 60th minute, after a corner, the ball fell to Nebel again, who moved centrally and scored a well-placed equalizer.

Decisive Goal in Extra Time
Just when penalties seemed inevitable, England struck again. In the 97th minute, Lewis Rowe finished Tyler Morton’s cross with an acrobatic effort at the far post.

Germany pushed for another miracle but fell short. Röhl hit the crossbar in the 121st minute, coming agonizingly close to leveling the score.

A Generation of Talent
England’s squad featured several exciting prospects, including Ethan Nwaneri (Arsenal), Tino Livramento (Newcastle), Deshawn Gray (Tottenham), and Harvey Elliott (Liverpool).

Germany also showcased rising stars: Nick Woltemade (Stuttgart), Julian Nebel (Mainz – 10 goals, 6 assists this season), Moritz Braun (Eintracht – 3 goals, 7 assists), and Noah Gruda (Brighton).
