Ethiopian delegation arrives in Turkmenistan to participate in the international conference in Awaza
On August 4, 2025, a delegation from the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia, led by Minister of Transport and Logistics Mr. Feyisa Alemu Simene, arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the third United Nations international conference on Landlocked Developing Countries.
The delegation’s plane landed at Turkmenbashi International Airport. According to Turkmenhowayollary, the high-ranking guests and members of the delegation were warmly welcomed in accordance with the ancient traditions of hospitality on Turkmen soil.
The participation of the Ethiopian delegation in the forum creates an important opportunity to develop international cooperation in transport and logistics, exchange experiences, and jointly discuss key issues related to the development of landlocked countries.
Additionally, this cooperation is expected to contribute to expanding Ethiopia’s economic potential and international relations.
