Vice President of the Republic of Malawi Arrives in Turkmenistan

Michael Bizwick Usi, Vice President of the Republic of Malawi, has arrived in Turkmenistan to participate in the third international conference of the United Nations on Landlocked Developing Countries. The conference is being held at the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone on the coast of the Caspian Sea.
The high-ranking guest was ceremoniously welcomed by official representatives of Turkmenistan at Ashgabat International Airport. According to the announcement by Turkmenistan Airlines, the welcoming ceremony was organized in accordance with the ancient hospitality traditions of the Turkmen people.
After the official welcoming ceremony, Vice President Michael Bizwick Usi proceeded to the city of Turkmenbashi, where the conference will take place.
The statement notes that the participation of a representative at the vice-presidential level is a clear indication of Malawi’s recognition of the importance of this international forum and its readiness for cooperation.
