Kurban Bayram Celebrated with Festivity in Lebap Province
Turkmenabat, June 6 (Amulinfo.com) — As in all corners of Turkmenistan, the sacred holiday of Kurban Bayram is being celebrated in Lebap province with great enthusiasm, on a wide and festive scale. According to the Decree of Honorable President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, June 6–7–8, 2025, are declared national holiday days throughout the country.

On this occasion, mass charitable meals, religious recitations, animal sacrifices, and cultural-spiritual events are being held in the provincial center and throughout the districts. Religious ceremonies took place in mosques across Turkmenabat, and outdoor banquets are arranged for local residents. People exchange good wishes and celebrate values of unity and harmony.
Various concerts, exhibitions, and national cuisine banquets are organized. Special events for youth, supported by public organizations, play an important role in passing down the spiritual meaning of the holiday to the younger generation.
Kurban Bayram reflects the long-standing values of the Turkmen people—humanity, goodwill, generosity, faith, and sincerity. The people of Lebap province celebrate it with high regard. The holiday strengthens spiritual values, cultural traditions, and religious beliefs, while contributing to the patriotic upbringing of youth.
During the holiday, the people of Lebap sincerely wish the President, the Hero Arkadag, long life, good health, and continued prosperity for the nation.
