Lebap Cement Plant Achieves Nearly Double Growth
In the first quarter of 2025, the Lebap Cement Plant produced a total of 371.1 thousand tons of high-quality cement. This figure shows an 83.3% increase compared to the same period last year. The growth reflects the efficient use of the plant’s production capacity and strong demand both domestically and internationally.
The plant was originally established to boost the development of the national construction industry. The second phase of the facility was inaugurated in March 2024 with the participation of the President of Turkmenistan. The launch of new production units significantly expanded the plant’s technical capabilities.
Today, the Lebap Cement Plant is capable of producing up to 2 million tons of cement per year. This capacity allows it to fully meet the country’s construction sector needs while also enhancing export opportunities. The cement’s high quality and compliance with international standards ensure strong demand in foreign markets.
The plant operates using modern equipment and in full compliance with environmental safety regulations. This paves the way for sustainable growth and high efficiency in the nation’s industrial sector.
