Let’s Observe Fire Safety During the New Year Holidays

Dear fellow citizens! During the celebration of the New Year, we remind you of the great importance of observing fire safety regulations!

During the holiday period, responsible persons must be appointed at institutions, enterprises, and venues where cultural and public events are held to monitor compliance with fire safety rules. Access roads intended for fire trucks and emergency exits must not be blocked by any obstacles.

Venues hosting cultural and public events must be equipped with fire extinguishing equipment, communication tools, and lighting devices. At celebration venues and in residential buildings, it is prohibited to use electrical wires and lighting fixtures with damaged insulation, hang decorations on them, twist connected wires together, cover lighting lamps with flammable materials, or connect several devices to a single power socket at the same time.

In case of a fire, you should immediately report it by calling “01” from landlines or “001” from mobile phones. The New Year’s tree must be securely fixed on a metal stand. The top of the tree should be at least one meter below the ceiling.

During New Year celebrations, it is prohibited to use fireworks, sparklers, or explosive items indoors or near Christmas trees, as sparks can cause serious fires. It is also not allowed to place electric or gas-powered heating devices near the tree or leave them unattended.

When leaving your home, do not forget to check that all electrical appliances are completely switched off!

Dear readers! On behalf of the amulinfo website, we sincerely congratulate you on the upcoming New Year! May the New Year bring you and your loved ones health, peace, prosperity, and new achievements. May your wishes come true, and may every day be filled with joyful moments!
