Love for Nature Begins in the Heart

Nature is not just the trees, mountains, or rivers around us — it is the voice of our hearts, a source of inspiration for our souls. To love nature means to respect all living creatures, plants, and natural resources. This goes beyond simply providing education; it includes instilling in the younger generation a sense of care and responsibility for the environment.

In protecting nature and nurturing a love for it in the hearts of young people, the primary role belongs to parents, teachers, and caregivers. Among them is Sherapat Durdyyeva, a teacher at Kindergarten No. 9 in Charjev district of Lebap province, who is creatively working to shape the younger generation's attitude toward nature in a positive way.

“Love for nature should not be limited to adults. It must live in the hearts of children, too. A child's heart is like a blank page. Writing on that page the beauty of nature, kindness, and humanity is our sacred duty,” says Sherapat Durdyyeva.

She notes that a wide range of environmental activities are currently being organized in kindergartens, and that special creative classes titled "Children Who Protect Nature" play an important role. These events teach young children to be kind to animals, care for plants, and keep their environment clean. In doing so, a sense of responsibility toward nature begins to take root in their minds.

In the era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, extensive efforts are being made in our country to ensure ecological well-being, thanks to the tireless efforts of our esteemed President and the Hero-Arkadag (National Leader). The creation of forest zones and implementation of environmental projects help raise a well-educated and patriotic generation.

Sherapat Durdyyeva emphasizes that such opportunities are a source of inspiration for creative work:

“With every flower planted, a child becomes more beautiful inside. Songs, stories, and pictures about nature not only increase children's knowledge but also enrich their inner world. This is the main goal of our work,” she explains.

By fostering a love for nature in the younger generation, we contribute not only to the protection of plants and animals, but also to a prosperous future for all humanity. This, in turn, is evidence that our country is confidently moving forward on the path of sustainable ecological development.
