At a meeting held in the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, it was noted that, in accordance with the Decree of our respected President, the Glorious Hero and National Leader of Turkmenistan, Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Turkmenistan’s Neutrality and the declaration of 2025 by the UN General Assembly as the "International Year of Peace and Trust," an Organizational State Group was established to conduct events at a high level. The meeting emphasized the importance of further improving the legislative and legal framework of the state in accordance with the national traditions of the Turkmen people and universally recognized principles of international law, as well as expanding public awareness efforts, and preparing designs for the jubilee medal and commemorative badge marking the 30th anniversary of the country’s permanent neutrality. Relevant work carried out during January–July, the first period of the International Year of Peace and Trust, was noted.
