One of the most memorable moments of the match started with Arda Güler’s high cross from the right wing. He sent the ball near the far post, where Borussia’s Brazilian defender Yan Couto lost track of Mbappé. Kylian rose and scored with a spectacular scissor kick — a precise strike into the far corner.

After the goal, Mbappé ran toward the camera and showed the number “20” with his fingers — Jota’s jersey number in football.
