Xpeng G7 – 10,000 Orders in 9 Minutes
Chinese electric car manufacturer Xpeng reports that its newly released electric crossover, G7, received more than 10,000 orders within the first 9 minutes of going on sale — potentially breaking the previous record set by the Xiaomi YU7.

Chinese electric vehicle manufacturer Xpeng announced that it received more than 10,000 orders within the first 9 minutes of sales for its newly launched electric crossover called G7. This figure could break the previous record held by the Xiaomi YU7.
The starting price of the new Xpeng G7 is 195,800 yuan. The vehicle is equipped with a 296-horsepower electric motor. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.5 seconds. Two battery options of 68.5 kWh and 80.8 kWh are offered. The new crossover can travel distances of 602 km and 702 km respectively. It can be fully charged in 12–15 minutes.
One of the most distinctive features of the G7 is its 87-inch projection display. This display was developed by Huawei, with $1.4 billion invested in its development. There is no traditional dashboard — all information is displayed on the front windshield. The display provides lane-based AR (augmented reality) navigation, driver alerts, vehicle status, video cameras, and parking instructions.
The top model of the crossover, priced at 225,800 yuan (approximately 2.5 million rubles), features a new generation autopilot system. This system is developed by Xpeng itself and operates with three microprocessors with a combined computing power of 2250 TOPS.
The new G7 is positioned between the brand's G6 and G9 models. Vehicle dimensions are: length – 4892 mm, width – 1925 mm, height – 1655 mm, wheelbase – 2890 mm. The car has two rows of seats and a trunk capacity of 819 liters.
