New Sprayer Technology Boosts Agricultural Productivity
Agriculture in the Lebap province is being rapidly modernized with state-of-the-art equipment. The first batch of high-performance M732i sprayers from the American company John Deere has been delivered to local farmers. These machines are designed to spray liquid substances over crops, nourish plants and combat pests.
he respected President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, places great emphasis on the development of agriculture. Comprehensive programs are being implemented to increase crop yields, ensure food abundance, and enhance the productivity of farmers.
A presentation of the new machinery was held at the "Lebapobahyzmat" production association. The event was attended by local agricultural specialists, agronomists, machine operators, and students from the Turkmenabat Agro-Industrial Secondary School.
Practical demonstrations of the equipment took place on the fields of the Jumaguly Hekimov Farmers’ Association in the Charjew district. The sprayers, built on the basis of well-known machines like John Deere, CLAAS, and MTZ, are operated via digital control systems. Their working width ranges from 6 to 24 meters, enabling them to spray liquids at various pressures with high precision.
Additionally, the wheel spacing of the sprayers can be adjusted between 60, 75, and 90 centimeters to fit the row spacing of crops, ensuring proper care and improving harvest results.
Çary Ýoldaşow, head of the Department for Modernization and Innovation in Agriculture under the Lebap regional administration, stated:
— Thanks to the tireless efforts of our esteemed President, producers in the country benefit from various state-supported incentives. Support related to fertilizers, irrigation, machinery, and tax breaks greatly encourages farmers to aim for better harvests.
Efforts to digitalize agriculture and enhance technical support clearly reflect the state’s attention to rural workers.
