Ronaldo’s son receives first call-up to Portugal U16 national team
15-year-old winger Cristiano Ronaldo dos Santos, who plays for Saudi club Al-Nassr, has been called up to Portugal’s U16 national team for the first time.
According to Report, the news was announced by the Portuguese Football Federation on its official website.
This marks the young player’s debut appearance in the national team at this age level.
The son of five-time Ballon d’Or winner Cristiano Ronaldo will participate in the Federation Cup. The tournament will be held in Antalya, where Portugal will face youth teams from Turkey, England, and Wales.
Ronaldo Jr. played his first international match on May 13, 2025, against Croatia.
