Special UAE Visas for IT Professionals and Event Participants

The United Arab Emirates has introduced new types of visas, including visas for professionals in the technology and artificial intelligence sectors. These visas can be issued for both single and multiple entries.

The main requirement is a letter from a company operating in the technology field.

A new event visa has been introduced for participating in events in the UAE. This visa allows foreigners to attend festivals, exhibitions, and other public events. Additionally, a new type of multiple-entry tourist visa, processed through authorized travel companies, has been introduced for passengers of cruise ships and sightseeing vessels.

Changes have also affected visas for truck drivers — they can now be issued with a guarantee and insurance from the transport company. The rules for visas for visiting friends and relatives have also been updated: the minimum income of the guarantor is now set between 4,000 and 15,000 dirhams, depending on the degree of kinship.

Citizens of many countries can still stay in the UAE visa-free for periods ranging from 30 to 90 days.
