Starlink System Expands to 150 Countries — User Base Surpasses 7.6 Million
The Starlink system, created to expand access to high-speed internet worldwide, has reached a record level. According to SpaceX, led by Elon Musk, over 7.6 million users are currently benefiting from this network.
Starlink service now covers more than 150 countries and regions. Through this expansion, even people living in the most remote areas can access stable and fast internet services.
The project is not only about providing internet access but also plays an important role in financially supporting future Mars expeditions. According to Elon Musk, every Starlink subscriber contributes to the plan of “building the future on Mars.”
On October 19, SpaceX set a new record by launching 28 new Starlink satellites into Earth’s orbit with the Falcon 9 rocket. Among them was the system’s 10,000th satellite. Additionally, the company successfully completed 132 rocket launches this year, matching the total number of launches in 2024.
The rapid growth of the Starlink system is regarded as a significant step in the development of digital services worldwide.
