The First Step into the World of Toddlers: Education and Upbringing in Kindergartens
In preschool institutions, special attention is given to developing children's knowledge and worldview. Children raised here are not only literate and educated but also brought up in accordance with the noble traditions of our people. All opportunities are created to enhance their interest in art and creativity.

In the 23rd Kindergarten of Turkmenabat city, education and upbringing of toddlers have been carried out for more than 56 years. The opportunities created here are very extensive. There are a total of 18 groups operating in the kindergarten, one of which works on a night shift. This is a very convenient option for citizens working in night shifts.
While parents teach children manners and ethics at home, the educators in the kindergarten provide education and upbringing. They work diligently to ensure that toddlers are well prepared for school and develop intellectual and labor skills.
Most of the educators in this kindergarten are young professionals who love their profession. However, experienced master educators also work here. One of them is Selbi Yaraşova, who has been working in this noble profession for 43 years and cherishes the children as her own.
Selbi Yaraşova, respected among her colleagues as an experienced mentor and loved by children as a caring grandmother, serves as a role model for all educators through her dedication, knowledge, and high humanity. Her devoted work was also honored with the “Jubilee Medal” on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of our Independence.
— A child is the flower of our life, the future of our Motherland and our people. Every family is proud of their child. Therefore, we educators try to organize educational and upbringing work in a thorough and active way, — says Selbi Yaraşova.
Indeed, in this educational institution, lessons are held to develop children’s speech skills, introduce them to the environment and nature, teach literacy, physical health, singing, mathematics, and drawing. Through these lessons, children develop patriotism, humanity, respect for elders, appreciation for peers, and love for work.
When conducting educational activities with children attending kindergarten, their age characteristics and abilities are also taken into account. Modern computers and teaching aids are effectively used in lessons and educational work with children. This helps children easily assimilate each lesson.
