The World’s Most Compact AI Supercomputer Unveiled

The American startup Tiiny AI has unveiled the Tiiny AI Pocket Lab, officially recognized by Guinness World Records as the world’s smallest personal AI supercomputer. Although it resembles a power bank in appearance, its capabilities match those of a full-scale supercomputer.

Pocket Lab can run large language models with up to 120 billion parameters entirely offline, without relying on cloud services, servers, or high-performance GPUs. This makes data-center-level AI computing accessible to everyday users.

Tiiny AI aims to reduce AI’s dependence on cloud infrastructure while addressing sustainability challenges, rising energy consumption, and data privacy risks associated with cloud-based AI services.

Designed as a versatile personal AI tool, Pocket Lab targets content creators, developers, researchers, and students.

All user data, settings, and documents are stored locally with bank-grade encryption, ensuring long-term memory and enhanced privacy.

The device is optimized for models ranging from 10 to 100 billion parameters, covering over 80% of real-world use cases, and can scale up to 120 billion parameters, delivering GPT-4-level intelligence.

Pocket Lab features a 12-core ARMv9.2 processor with power consumption up to 65 watts.

It supports one-click installation of popular open-source models such as Llama, Qwen, DeepSeek, Mistral, Phi, and GPT-OSS, as well as AI agents like OpenManus, ComfyUI, Flowise, and SillyTavern.

A full launch of all features is scheduled for CES in January 2026.
