Toyota Corolla Cross 2026 New Generation

Toyota has unveiled the redesigned 2026 model of the Corolla Cross. According to Carscoops, the new crossover stands out not only with its refreshed design but also with the addition of the sporty GR Sport version.
The front of the vehicle features an expanded mesh-style grille, slimmer headlights, and LED lights on higher trims. The rear lights and 18-inch alloy wheels have also been updated. Despite the changes, the model continues to use the TNGA-C platform.
The interior has seen several upgrades, including a wider center console, a new gear selector, wireless charging, a 10.5-inch multimedia screen, and a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, all contributing to a more modern look and feel.
For the European market, two hybrid powertrains are offered: a 1.8-liter version with 138 horsepower and a 2.0-liter version producing 194 horsepower. Both are paired with an electric motor and a CVT transmission. The car also features Toyota's latest safety technology – Toyota Safety Sense 3.0, which includes adaptive cruise control and advanced emergency braking.
The GR Sport version boasts a more aggressive design, inspired by the GR Corolla, with a unique bumper, 19-inch black wheels, and a special Storm Grey color. It also features a 10 mm lowered suspension, retuned steering, paddle shifters, and a Sport driving mode.
The new Corolla Cross 2026 is expected to go on sale in Europe in mid-2025.
