Turkmenistan Basketball Cup to Kick Off in Ashgabat
From December 19 to 28, the Turkmenistan Basketball Cup for men’s and women’s teams will take place in the capital of Turkmenistan. The tournament will be hosted by the multifunctional sports complex of the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports. Admission to all matches will be free for spectators.
According to the Basketball Federation of Turkmenistan, the women’s teams will be the first to take the court, with their competitions scheduled from December 19 to 23. Six teams will compete for the trophy: Ashgabat, Talyp Sporty, Bayramaly U17, Lebap, Binagyar, and Galkynysh.
The men’s tournament matches will be held from December 24 to 28. Eight teams will compete for the Cup: Talyp Sporty, Ashgabat, Dashoguz, Maliye, Lebap, MGSK, Galkan, and Binagyar.
The organizers invite all basketball fans to support the teams from the stands.
