Turkmenistan Beats Thailand 3–1 and Moves Closer to Asian Cup Qualification
On June 10, 2025, in Ashgabat, the national football team of Turkmenistan defeated Thailand 3–1 in the second match of the third round of the 2027 AFC Asian Cup qualifiers. This victory gives Turkmenistan a key advantage in the group stage.

The match began at a high pace. In the very 1st minute, Mikhail Titov opened the scoring with a powerful shot into the net, giving Turkmenistan an early lead.
In the 35th minute, Thai striker Supachai Chaided equalized the score with a header — 1:1. However, just three minutes later, in the 38th minute, Yhlas Saparmammedov restored the lead for Turkmenistan with a well-placed goal.
In the 67th minute, after a corner kick, the ball landed near the goal, and captain Mekan Saparov capitalized on it to make the score 3–1. This goal sealed the outcome of the match.
