Turkmenistan’s national kurash team became a source of pride for our nation with outstanding results at the 14th Asian Kurash Championship held in the city of Gyeosan, South Korea, from July 30 to August 5, 2025. Turkmen wrestlers demonstrated their high skill and strong preparation on the international stage, winning 1 gold, 6 silver, and 9 bronze medals. These achievements clearly prove the progress of our national team in the field of sports.

This Asian Championship was especially significant in scale — more than 300 athletes from over 20 Asian countries participated. Competitions were held among juniors, youth, and adults, providing athletes of different levels the opportunity to showcase their talents.
