Chilean Representative Arrives at International Forum in Awaza
The geographic scope of the third UN conference on landlocked developing countries also includes South American nations. On August 4, 2025, a delegation from the Republic of Chile arrived in the city of Turkmenbashi to participate in this important forum.
According to "Turkmenhowayollary" (Turkmen Airlines), the delegation is headed by Mr. Eduardo Raúl Escobar Marín, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Chile to the Russian Federation. The guest was officially welcomed at Turkmenbashi International Airport.
The participation of a South American delegation in this event clearly demonstrates that the issues facing landlocked countries are of global, not just regional, importance. It underscores the need for cooperation with transit countries and the diversification of international trade routes, helping to develop effective solutions with the involvement of all interested parties.
