Apple Introduces Its Thinnest and Most Powerful iPhone Ever
On September 9, American tech giant Apple held its annual event where it officially unveiled the next generation of iPhones — the iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone 17 Air.
All three models are powered by Apple’s newest chip, the A19 Pro, built using TSMC’s advanced 3-nanometer technology. According to Apple, the iPhone 17 Pro is the most powerful iPhone in the company’s history.
Key Features:
-
The iPhone 17 Pro features a 6.3-inch Super Retina XDR display.
-
The iPhone 17 Pro Max comes with a larger 6.9-inch screen.
Both models have displays protected by an upgraded scratch-resistant coating, support ProMotion with refresh rates up to 120Hz, Always On technology, and reach peak brightness of 3000 nits. Apple claims that outdoor contrast has doubled compared to last year’s Pro models.
The rear camera system includes three 48MP sensors: a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, and a telephoto lens with 4x optical zoom.
The front camera features 18MP resolution with new photo and video modes.

The new iPhone 17 Air has drawn special attention as the thinnest iPhone ever, with a body just 5.7 mm thick.
The model is crafted from a titanium alloy and features a 6.5-inch display. It has a single 48MP rear camera, which Apple says is capable of replacing multiple lenses with different focal lengths.
