Duolingo created 148 new language courses with the help of artificial intelligence

The Duolingo learning platform has developed 148 new language courses using artificial intelligence. In the past, creating such courses used to take several years, but now this process is much faster thanks to AI.

Users can now learn seven of the most popular languages — Spanish, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, and Chinese — in 28 different languages. This gives people from all over the world the opportunity to study in their native language.

Duolingo first creates the base language course and then translates it into other languages. AI helps not only in creating the lessons but also in reviewing and checking them. This ensures high quality in learning.

Duolingo’s CEO, Luis von Ahn, said that the company is becoming an AI-driven organization. He also mentioned that tasks previously done by people are now gradually being automated.
