High-Quality Products from "Kökçi"
In the Lebap region, as well as in other parts of the country, the development of the private sector has made it possible to establish the production of various goods that replace imports. In terms of quality, these products are not inferior to those of well-known global brands. The business entity "Kökçi," founded in 2014, has launched the production of batteries with different power capacities.
This company is known not only within Turkmenistan but also abroad. Entrepreneurs from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Italy, and Armenia purchase "Kökçi" products. Domestically, the main consumers include government agencies, enterprises, agricultural organizations, and private vehicle owners.
At "Kökçi," consistent efforts are made to expand production capacity, improve manufacturing processes, and enhance product quality. Recently, a second production facility was launched, equipped with machinery manufactured in the People's Republic of China. This upgrade has taken the production process to a new level. The facility also focuses on addressing environmental issues. Specifically, it collects and recycles used batteries from across the country. The drained electrolyte is sent to the Turkmenabat Chemical Plant of the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa." Lead oxide plates are removed, processed, and reused in the production of new battery components. The plastic cases of old batteries are shredded, mixed with the required amount of polymer, and molded into new cases.
The finished batteries are delivered to consumers under the trademarks "TM Power," "Ýyldyrym," "Farwaý," "Akum," and "Kuwwat." These domestically produced batteries are of high quality and are more affordable for consumers compared to imported equivalents.
The work of the "Kökçi" business entity clearly demonstrates the positive results of the government’s policy to support private entrepreneurship. Today, it can be confidently stated that the company has become a fully independent and operational production facility.
