It is planned to hold a specialized EXPO international exhibition in the field of agriculture in Turkmenistan

As part of the implementation of the “Concept of Turkmenistan’s International Exhibition Activities for 2024–2025,” approved by the Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on August 25, 2023, relevant measures are being consistently carried out. Within this framework, a National Program for 2023–2025 has been developed to strengthen cooperation with the Bureau International des Expositions (BIE) and is currently being implemented.

Plans are underway to organize a specialized EXPO international exhibition in Turkmenistan in cooperation with the BIE, focusing on the agricultural sector. Preliminary preparations are proposed, including the creation of a special fund for the event, as well as negotiations with major international companies.

In addition, draft documents have been prepared to further improve the country's international exhibition activities and ensure Turkmenistan’s high-level participation in globally recognized specialized expos. Proposals include participation in:

• “Green EXPO — 2027” on ecology and environmental protection, to be held in Yokohama, Japan from March 19 to September 26, 2027.

• “EXPO — 2027” in Belgrade, Serbia, from May 15 to August 15, 2027, under the motto “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”

There are also suggestions to organize training workshops with international experts and improve the professional qualifications of Turkmen specialists at international learning centers during 2025–2027.
