Outstanding Loans Issued by Turkmen Banks Exceeded 92 Billion Manats
As of November 1, 2025, the total outstanding amount of loans issued by Turkmenistan’s credit institutions to enterprises, organizations, and the population in the national currency amounted to 92 billion 917.2 million manats. As of November 1, 2024, the total outstanding loan balance stood at 90 billion 645.88 million manats. This was reported by the electronic journal Bank habarlary, published by the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
As of November 1, 2025, the outstanding loan balance issued to state institutions and enterprises amounted to 45 billion 9 million manats, compared to 52 billion 313 million manats as of November 1, 2024.
According to the data, as of November 1, 2025, the total outstanding amount of loans issued to the private sector of the country in the national currency reached 17 billion 844 million manats. As of November 1, 2024, the outstanding balance of these loans was 14 billion 137 million manats.
The total outstanding amount of loans issued to citizens and entrepreneurs engaged in business activities without forming a legal entity during the reporting period amounted to 30 billion 64 million manats. As of November 1, 2024, the total outstanding loan balance in this category stood at 24 billion 196 million manats.
