President of Turkmenistan Awarded Uzbekistan’s High State Honor — the “High-Level Friendship” Order

After the completion of high-level Turkmen–Uzbek talks in Tashkent, a ceremony was held to award the President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedow, with Uzbekistan’s high state honor — the “High-Level Friendship” (Oliy Darajali Do‘stlik) Order.

President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev presented this high award to the Head of the Turkmen State, emphasizing his personal contribution to strengthening traditional Turkmen–Uzbek friendship and good-neighborly relations, as well as strategic partnership. According to the Decree signed by the Uzbek Leader, Arkadagly Hero Serdar was honored with this prestigious award for his outstanding historical services in strengthening strong friendly ties, good-neighborliness, and strategic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan; for the comprehensive development of bilateral relations; and for expanding long-term multifaceted cooperation in trade, industry, transport, energy, agriculture, science, education, sports, and humanitarian fields. He was also recognized for contributing to the rapprochement of the brotherly peoples, preserving ancient history, national values, and traditions, advancing cultural and artistic cooperation, and reinforcing global stability, mutual trust, regional partnership, and harmony.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedow expressed gratitude for this high award, stating that he accepts it as a sign of respect for Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people.

It is worth noting that during Hero Arkadag’s friendly visit to Uzbekistan in April of this year, he was also awarded the “High-Level Friendship” Order.
