“Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern Authorized to Sign a Contract with “Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.” and “Gap Inşaat Yatırım ve Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi”

As part of the Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, and with the goal of further enhancing the export potential of the country's chemical industry, the President of Turkmenistan has signed a Resolution.
According to the document, the “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern has been authorized to sign a contract with Japan’s Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd. and Turkey’s Gap Inşaat Yatırım ve Dış Ticaret Anonim Şirketi for:

the design and construction of a urea production complex with a capacity of 1,155,000 tons per year in Türkmenbaşy district of Balkan province,

as well as for the landscaping and development of adjacent areas.
Construction is scheduled to begin in July 2026, and the complex is planned to be fully completed and ready for operation by February 2030.
