Turkmenistan Participated in Economic Forum Held in Dushanbe

Last week, the Central Asia International Economic Forum (CAIEF – 2025) was held in the city of Dushanbe. The plenary session titled “Creating a Space of Trust, Cooperation, and Friendship among Regions” was attended by representatives of government agencies, business communities, and expert circles from Central Asian countries and Russia, according to the Roscongress Foundation.

Ahlyddin Nuriddinzoda, Deputy Minister of Economic Development and Trade of Tajikistan,

Murat Kerefov, Deputy Minister of Economic Development of Russia,

Roman Chekushov, State Secretary – Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Russia,

Semyon Grigoriev, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Russia to Tajikistan,

Shohruh Gulamov, Acting Deputy Minister of Investment, Industry, and Trade of Uzbekistan,
-
Tatyana Kim, Founder of Wildberries, and other entrepreneurs.
During the session, the participants discussed:

the development of transport corridors,
-
the creation of digital platforms,
-
the implementation of innovative technologies in industry and agriculture.
They also explored cooperation opportunities in the fields of:

digital economy,
-
logistics,
-
industrial collaboration,
-
youth and educational exchanges.
At the end of the plenary session, a Joint Declaration was signed. In this document, the parties reaffirmed their commitment to:

further deepening economic integration,

expanding trade and economic relations,
-
jointly addressing global challenges, including climate change and food security.
