Two Planes Collide in New York: One Injured
Two regional Delta Air Lines planes collided at New York’s LaGuardia Airport, resulting in one flight attendant being injured.
For safety reasons, two taxiways at the airport were temporarily closed.
According to international media reports, a spokesperson for the airport said that “the right wing of one aircraft collided with the nose of the other.”
An investigation has been launched with the participation of the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB).
