Berdimuhamedov Gifted Aliyev an Akhal-Teke Horse, and Mirziyoyev a Camel and a Camel Calf
The Chairman of the Halk Maslahaty of Turkmenistan, National Leader of the Turkmen people Gurbangly Berdimuhamedow presented the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev with an Akhal-Teke horse — one of the most valuable and symbolic horse breeds of the country. He gave the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev a special gift — a camel with a calf, symbolizing the traditions and culture of Turkmenistan. This was officially reported by the Turkmen State News Agency (TDH). The ceremonial gift-giving took place within the framework of the trilateral high-level summit between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, held on August 22 in the Avaza resort zone on the Caspian Sea coast.

The TDH statement emphasizes that the gifts were given "as a sign of deep gratitude for participating in the high-level meeting, supporting constructive decisions, and the agreements reached at the negotiations." Such gifts became a symbol of friendship and mutual respect among the leaders of the three countries.
The summit itself was held in an atmosphere of constructive dialogue and mutual understanding. During the meeting, the presidents discussed pressing issues of further development of trilateral cooperation in the fields of economy, transport, energy, humanitarian ties, and other areas.
In addition, a joint leaders’ statement was adopted at the summit, which highlights the importance of deepening strategic partnership and coordinating efforts to ensure stability and prosperity in the region.
Several key documents were signed during the event, including memorandums on cooperation in transport and logistics and civil aviation, aimed at developing international corridors, improving infrastructure, and facilitating transport and trade links between the three countries. Additional agreements were also signed to expand industrial, energy, and cultural cooperation.
This meeting became an important step in creating a new partnership format between Turkmenistan, Azerbaijan, and Uzbekistan, focused on developing mutually beneficial cooperation, strengthening peace, and stability in the Eurasian region.
