Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan Met with the Vice President of the National Assembly of Morocco

On August 4, within the framework of the Parliamentary Forum held in the "Awaza" National Tourist Zone, a meeting took place between the Chairperson of the Mejlis of Turkmenistan, D. Gulmanova, and the Vice President of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Morocco, Ghayate Mohammed.

During the meeting, the guest was acquainted with the main directions of the internal and foreign policy of Independent, Permanent Neutral Turkmenistan, the structure and activities of the Mejlis, as well as the role it plays in ensuring the legal foundation for the democratic reforms being implemented by the President of Turkmenistan.

The parties exchanged views on the current level of political and diplomatic relations between the two countries, and the importance of joining efforts to promote peace, strengthen trust between nations and peoples, and expand goodwill-based cooperation.

It was also emphasized during the meeting that interparliamentary dialogue contributes to expanding the scope of cooperation between the two countries and enhances opportunities for exchanging experience in lawmaking and parliamentary work.
