Summer Season in Lebap: Relaxation and Wellness Await
Summer is approaching. Just hearing the name of this season brings thoughts of rest and relaxation. Many of our fellow citizens plan to improve their health and enjoy their time at sanatoriums and wellness centers during the summer. In our region, preparations for the season are also in full swing.
The 160-bed "Mirap" sanatorium in the Charjew district is undergoing special preparation for this year’s summer season. This healing water resort, rich in iodine and bromine and sourced from a depth of 1100 meters, offers treatments for back pain, arthritis, neuralgia, colds, and skin diseases. The comfortable and health-oriented environment is greatly appreciated by the guests.
The "Farap" sanatorium has also been operating successfully for many years. With its healing waters, clean air, and modern amenities, it stands out as a top destination. Extensive improvements are underway to provide quality rest: cleaning, repairs, and lighting upgrades are being carried out. This season, facilities such as pools, baths, and fitness rooms have been further enhanced.
As we know, the water here contains 32 beneficial elements, including iodine, bromine, magnesium, sodium bicarbonate, sodium sulfate, and sulfur. The sanatorium provides treatments for back pain, gastrointestinal issues, liver and bile duct problems, and skin diseases. A new type of electro-reflex therapy has been introduced, and the number of salt caves has been increased.
The “Bagtyyarlyk” children's wellness and recreation center in our region is once again ready to warmly welcome children, as it does every season. Great efforts are made here to ensure that children enjoy a fun and engaging time.
Of course, when speaking of summer, one cannot ignore the “Awaza” National Tourist Zone — one of the most beautiful destinations that first comes to mind. With its healing air and sunny days, the Caspian Sea coast attracts not only locals but also international tourists. The “Lebap” wellness and recreation center, which hosts hundreds of our fellow citizens every year, will also be ready to serve guests this summer.
In preparation for the season, significant improvements have been made. All buildings and rooms have undergone repairs and renovations. Pools and attractions were inspected and repaired.
