The Amount of Funds Transferred via Internet Banking Exceeded 1 Billion Manats
The internet banking system is a banking service that enables customers to manage their accounts and carry out banking operations without visiting a bank, using a personal computer or a mobile phone. To use this service, it is sufficient to submit an application to the servicing bank.
Within the framework of implementing tasks aimed at developing the digital economy in Turkmenistan, the State Commercial Bank “Turkmenistan” is consistently improving its provision with modern software, server, and computer equipment. As of November 1, 2025, nearly 1.4 thousand clients, including legal entities, private enterprises, and entrepreneurs, were connected to the bank’s internet banking system. From January to October of this year, the bank’s clients carried out about 44.5 thousand transactions, with the total amount reaching 1 billion 197.24 million manats. Compared to the corresponding period of last year, this figure doubled. This was reported in the “Bank News” magazine of the Central Bank of Turkmenistan.
The “Internet Banking” service of the State Commercial Bank “Dayhanbank” is also one of the new types of banking services. Its introduction has contributed to further modernization of bank account management and the rapid execution of various banking operations, in particular fund transfers, checking account balances, obtaining account statements, and determining procedures for loan and deposit payments.
