Total Value of Transactions at the SCRMET Exceeds USD 96.517 Million
Last week, 19 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET). This was reported on the official website of the State News Agency of Turkmenistan (TDH).
For foreign currency, entrepreneurs from the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, and Afghanistan purchased liquefied gas and urea produced by the enterprises of the “Türkmenhimiýa” State Concern. In addition, representatives of business circles from Turkey, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, and other countries bought dyed terry fabrics (including jacquard), cotton fabrics and yarn, cleaned cotton waste, and raw cotton fiber. The total value of these transactions exceeded USD 96.517 million.
On the domestic market, Turkmen entrepreneurs purchased polypropylene, base oil, paraffin raw materials (produced by the “Türkmennebit” State Concern), float glass, and cotton yarn for a total amount of 87.107 million manats.
