Turkmenistan to Ensure Sustainable Wage Growth and Labor Market Development Until 2030
According to the Labor Market Development Concept of Turkmenistan until 2030, approved by the President, the country will continue large-scale reforms in employment, wage policy, and labor relations.
Key goals of the Concept include:

Gradual increase in wages, including minimum wage, to enhance people’s purchasing power;

Improving systems of bonuses and performance-based payments;

Digital transformation of employment services — job seekers and employers are supported through the Ministry of Labor’s website;

Strengthening international cooperation, especially with the International Labour Organization (ILO);

Expanding vocational training and reskilling programs;
-
Enhancing workplace safety and labor protection.
The successful implementation of the Concept is expected to support the development of an effective labor market, creation of new jobs, growth in productivity, and improvement of living standards.
